Information in previous chapters make the more complex concepts found in later chapters comprehensible. There is a helpful balance of illustrations and sidebars that reinforce the content. The list of references with each chapter will give you deeper background into the subject matter. By considering the critical thinking and discussion questions, key concepts are reinforced.
