I have been waiting for a book like this for quite a while. Scanning through it, I found that probably all I needed is contained in the book or otherwise properly referenced to. I probably will use the book a lot. Especially the inclusion of the space standards in different countries provide a valuable insight in the way those countries address safety and risks. The set-up of the book follows a logical path which makes it easy to find your part of interest. The index helps there too of course. For all those who are involved in the space business and have questions about safety and risks, this is a standard work you must have on your desk. It is advertised as the definitive reference on the subject, but only time will tell. Space business evolves very quick and may cause for an update in just some years.
One minus point. I paid $ 147,98 including postage and handling. You might expect that for this price, Amazon.com would pack it properly for overseas shipment. When the book arrived it was damaged in the package and I could not return it because I opened the package. A book like that in my bookcase should not be damaged.
