If you have an MBA in Finance from a top 20 B-school, Pratt would be a better read (although he must like reading encyclopedia), but Trugman address the professional concerns and requirements of the professional organizations (AICPA, NACVA, ASA, IBA) and provides hands-on applications and sample reports. I use this as a text book in a course in BV at the graduate level.
