While I am certain that this is an excellent read for a PhD candidate or a physician with an MBA, it is not for the average or even above average physician looking for advice and information concerning the management of a practice. It is most definitely an extremely in depth and detailed examination of all aspects of medical management. It presupposes that the reader is well-versed in fiscal policy, business law, and graduate level economics. I struggled with the book for several days before making it a gift to my brother-in-law who is an MBA student.
