Introduction to Precious Metals ReviewGreat book. For 20 years, it was the only thing available in English that explained the metallurgy of the precious metals in (more-or-less) plain English. This second edition is vastly expanded and updated. The only other book in English with anything close to the metallurgical detail is the English translation of Brepohl's _Theory & Practice of Goldsmithing_.If you're serious about being a metalsmith, you need this one.
The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because the system won't let me. (My original review was of the first edition, which I gave 4 stars. Amazon seems to have moved that review so that it now points at the revised 2nd edition, which I would very much like to give 5 stars...)Introduction to Precious Metals Overview
